What is Calkku?
An iOS 26 calendar-decoration app. Each day cell in the month grid is a tiny scrapbook for stickers, memos, polaroid photos, and washi-tape spans. Apple Calendar import, widgets, Live Activity, and PencilKit handwriting included.
How is Calkku different from Apple Calendar or Fantastical?
Productivity calendars render events as text bars. Calkku renders them as decorated cells you can tape, sticker, and photograph — while keeping all the productivity (EventKit import, reminders, widgets, Live Activity).
Is Calkku free?
Yes. Core features (decorating, washi tape, widgets, Live Activity, import, statistics, drawing) are free. Optional: seasonal sticker packs (single purchase) + cloud-sync subscription (rolling out post-launch).
What languages does Calkku support?
English, Korean (한국어), Japanese (日本語), Traditional Chinese (繁體中文), Simplified Chinese (简体中文). Adapts to your device language automatically.
Does Calkku send my data to a server?
No. Calkku has no server. Data stays on your device and (optionally) in your own Apple iCloud private database. No advertising SDKs, no analytics, no AI provider — Calkku does not call any AI service in current builds.
What does "캘꾸" mean?
Korean abbreviation of 캘린더 꾸미기 (calendar decoration). Part of the "X꾸" cute-slang family (다꾸 = diary, 폰꾸 = phone, 백꾸 = bag).
Can I import from Google Calendar?
Indirectly — if Google Calendar is connected to Apple Calendar on iOS, Calkku imports it via EventKit. Direct Google integration is on the roadmap.
Does Calkku work on iPad?
Yes. iPad-adaptive layout shows all 7 days at once in week view, and Apple Pencil works natively with the PencilKit handwriting layer.
